Terms and Conditions

Payment and Booking

A deposit amounting to 20% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking. This can be made via debit/credit card or bank transfer. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the commencement of the tour, payable through either debit/credit card or bank transfer.

Bookings for our tours must be made exclusively through our designated email address: sales@atos.co.tz. A booking is deemed confirmed only once a 20% deposit of the total tour cost has been received. We will send all booking confirmations and related communications to the provided email address.

Bank Transfers

Payments via bank transfer are accepted. However, all associated transaction fees, including those from intermediary banks, must be borne by the sender. Should the received amount be less than the invoiced total due to these fees or any other reason, the difference must be compensated by the client prior to the commencement of the tour.

Credit Card Transaction Fees

We accept major cards, including Visa and MasterCard. A 3% transaction fee will be applied to credit or debit card payments where applicable.

Payment Notification

As soon as any funds are received into our account, we will promptly notify the guest, specifying the exact amount that has been deposited.

Short-Notice Bookings

For tours commencing within 30 days from the date of booking, the entire payment must be made upfront to secure the arrangements and facilitate a smooth experience.

Tanzania National Parks

Tanzania’s national parks generally operate according to official opening hours and regulations established by the relevant authorities. All clients are required to adhere strictly to the regulations established by the government and park authorities while visiting these areas.

Travel Insurance

Clients are strongly urged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance from a reputable insurance provider. Appropriate insurance can provide protection against medical emergencies, trip cancellation, baggage loss, delays, evacuation, and other travel-related risks.

Special Arrangements

We strive to accommodate any special requests made at the time of booking. This includes, but is not limited to, arrangements for cakes, engagement surprises, wheelchair accessibility, dietary requirements, and other special requests.

To ensure proper arrangements, please notify us of any such requests during the booking process.

Accommodation Alterations

ATOS reserves the right to make modifications to accommodation arrangements if circumstances require such changes. Where possible, suitable alternative accommodation will be arranged.

Visa Application and Entry

Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate visa, passport, permits, and other travel documents required to enter Tanzania.

Visa and entry requirements may vary depending on nationality and may change from time to time. Clients should verify the applicable requirements before travelling.

Check-In and Check-Out Procedures

Standard hotel check-in time is generally 2:00 PM, with check-out generally scheduled for 10:00 AM. Requests for early check-in or late check-out may be accommodated subject to availability and may result in additional charges.

Vaccinations, Health Precautions, and Requirements

Travelers are advised to stay updated with applicable vaccination and health recommendations before travelling to Tanzania.

Clients should consult a qualified medical professional regarding vaccinations, malaria prevention, medications, and other appropriate health precautions.

Travelers should also take reasonable precautions against mosquito bites and maintain good hydration during their trip.

Itinerary Changes

While we make every effort to adhere to the itinerary agreed upon with the client, unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather conditions, road conditions, wildlife movements, government regulations, park restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control may necessitate changes.

ATOS reserves the right to make reasonable modifications when necessary for safety, operational, or other legitimate reasons.

Safari Vehicles

Safaris are conducted using suitable and properly maintained safari vehicles. Vehicle type and passenger capacity may vary depending on the itinerary, group size, destination, and operational requirements.

Safari Tour Experience

Our safari tours offer an immersive experience within national parks and other natural environments. Guests should be prepared for an authentic wildlife experience, which may include hearing natural sounds such as animal calls, roars, and other nocturnal noises.

Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed because animals move freely in their natural habitat.

Tanzania National Parks Etiquette

While exploring Tanzania’s national parks, clients are expected to respect and adhere to park regulations and etiquette guidelines.

This includes refraining from feeding, touching, disturbing, or approaching wildlife inappropriately. These measures are intended to ensure the safety of guests and the wellbeing of wildlife.
